Fun day!

We had such a fun filled day but it started off rather rough.  Karis woke me up at 5:30 this morning telling me that her throat hurt and she thought she had strep throat (yuck)!    SO we knew we had to take her to the doctor to see if she had strep and if so get her on some meds ASAP.  Jay took her to the Walgreens Take-Care Clinic (love it!) and was there by 8:00 and out by 8:30 and he wasn't the first in line.  But the strep test came back negative and the doc said it was probably drainage.  Just give her Motrin (which we already had) and she would be fine.  I was just glad to know it wasn't strep!  So Karis stayed home today to rest and got to play some with all the boys.  Oh and our buddy Eli came today too so we had quite the crew!

Oh and this is the lovely hair-do Lucy wakes up with daily.  Actually this morning it was rather tame compared to some days!  Isn't it lovely???

This pic cracks me up because Axton's parents are HUGE Mississippi State fans and this is what Ax chose to play with all morning....hehe!

And Ax has followed Karis around too...I think he has his first crush!

When we were upstairs playing, Karis started telling all the boys stories out of her Picture Bible.  She was doing a great job retelling all the stories...they hear/know more than we realize they do!!!

Whew!  What a day....a fun one.  Tonight I cooked Turkey Piccata, Pioneer Woman's Au Gratin Potatoes, and Lima beans.  The potatoes were soooo good!  The kids were all bathed and in bed by 7:00!  Everyone was soooo tired tonight!  The hubs and I hunkered down on the couch, drank some decaf coffee and watched Survivor from last night...we love that show!

        

Can't wait for tomorrow...my mom and I are taking the kids to Disney on Ice!  Yah!!!
