Quarantine Week 3

This week has consisted of lots of cooking, baking, exercise, home church, power washing, pranks (April Fools), bonfires, outside time and games!

The kids also started their online school this week!  It has been much easier than we thought it would be and they are finishing within 1-2 hours each day.

I enjoyed getting to be a part of Lucy's class Christmas party this year and doing a craft with them.  It was fun seeing Lucy in her element and I think she enjoyed having mom there.  I don't know how long it will last that she enjoys me being a part of things, so I will enjoy it for as long as it lasts!

Lucy and I enjoyed craft night together at church making a Mary/Joseph/baby Jesus craft.  It was fun making memories with my girl!

Oak Ram Run

Lucy participated in a fundraiser at her school called the Ram Run.   They ran around the school for 30 minutes and with each lap they got a certain amount of money for the school.  I even got to run the last lap with her!  

School lunch with our Lucy Lu!

We went to our first school lunch today with our Lucy Lu!  She was so excited and chose Subway for her lunch.  While we were eating, she said, "Aw I don't want this moment to end!" She actually teared up because she didn't want us to leave.  My heart hurt knowing we were leaving her while she was upset.  Being a parent is hard somedays, but such a blessing!

After my 20 week ultrasound with Karis, we had our ultrasound technician write down the gender of our baby and put it in an envelope.  We came to this exact spot and opened it and took pictures.  13 years later, we came to the exact spot to take pics with our sweet Karis.  Precious memories...

A weekend with just our Lulu meant donuts before church and Starbucks cake pops and shopping days!
