Thanksgiving in Gatlinburg!

What an amazing week with the family for Thanksgiving!  We loved it (except for that awful mountain we had to go up to get to the cabin...but the view was nice!

This Thanksgiving season has been a sweet one.  We have so much to be grateful for and we are counting our blessings!  Alot has changed since last Thanksgiving when we revealed to our families that we would likely be staying.  The Lord has been so faithful and provided a home that we could rent, friends that abound more than whatever we thought possible, a great 1st year of work for Jay, the kids adjusted back to public school and I am well on my way to getting my teaching license renewed.  We have enjoyed time with family over the year and certainly enjoyed being settled for a long while.  We have all grown leaps and bounds and the Lord has been faithful through every step!

Thanksgiving in America!

Thanksgiving in America was the biggest treat this year!  Ham and all the fixin's were awesome!

Thanksgiving in Corinth!

We have waited years to have Thanksgiving in Corinth!  Today's the day and we are so excited!

Matt and Tiffany's visit to Pamukhale and Hieropolis

We were thrilled when Matt and Tiffany said they were coming to visit us!  AND they would be here for Thanksgiving was an extra treat!  They only got to stay less than a week so we packed alot in the week.

While we were at a Biblical site, we got a private tour of a church that wasn't opened yet.  It was a really cool experience.  Unfortunately they wouldn't let us take pics of it.
