Spring Vacation

It has become tradition for us to go to the beach every spring for a few days and we were so looking forward to getting out of the city for a few days.

It started off kinda rocky because the place we had booked was NOT what it was advertised.  We actually booked a place that was like an apartment so that we could take/cook our own meals.   It also advertised several large pools with slides which our kids were very excited about.  However when we got there….it was a tad shocking.  The pools were drained and or green, there was NO oven in the apartment and only a small hotel sized refrigerator.  We had brought huge prepared meals to cook for 12 people so that apparently was not going to work!

Long story short we left the first night and went to find another place that was much better!  The new place didn't have slides but the pool was amazing and heated.  The kids had a blast for a few days!

Vacation with Lolli 2014 Part 1

We are having the time of our lives vacationing with Lolli and it is so good for us to get out of our city for a few days and rest.  We are experiencing vacation a little different this year considering it is in a different country but loving it the same.  We are so blessed to have this time together and blessed to have Lolli here with us!

We drove through the mountains to get here and it was beautiful!

Our villa is amazing…a little quiet paradise right here.  Lucy discovered her own little "club house."

The view out of our living room is amazing!

The pool was by far our favorite part…most days we almost had the pool to ourselves!

Lucy decided she wanted to pull Lolli around the pool one day…she was working so hard in those floaties ha!

We only went to the beach one day.  The sand was really hot and it was crowded so we enjoyed the pool much more.

We brought a puzzle along that Roxy sent us in a package and it was fun to add a little each day to complete the puzzle.  It was a proud moment for all when it was finished.  Thanks Roxy!

This little guy was hangin' by our towels one morning….

The kids loved playing with Lolli!

We walked through the markets and the harbor on Father's Day night and discovered some really neat things…and of course a steak house which was a big treat for all of us!

Lucy said, "Mom look I am going to be a statue!"

We happened upon a pirate ship and they invited us on board to take pictures…so cool!

Playtime in the pool was by far our favorite part.

We are having a ball and it's not over yet!  Another post yet to come when I get pics downloaded.
