We have absolutely loved watching Brayden play baseball this year.  He hasn't played since 2013 and we have seen his love for the game return.   He is playing machine-pitch with our church and he looks forward to every game and practice.  I love being a boy momma and seeing him thrive in something he really enjoys!

Brayden's State Bible Drill

We are so proud of Brayden!  He joined our church's Bible Drill team mid-year after we came joined. He was a few months behind and it seemed overwhelming at first.  He studied really hard to learn his verses he was behind on and to work on some of the things they had done before he joined.  Within a few weeks he caught up and made it through the church drill, the associational drill and all the way to  STATE BIBLE DRILL and with only one mistake he finished with "State Winner Superior!"

Brayden rocks Bible Drill!

I was one PROUD momma today!

For years I have had a wish for my kids to be a part of Bible Drill and we weren't able due to us being overseas.  So when we stayed, we decided we wanted the kids to be a part of it and Brayden agreed it would be good for him.  The hard part....they started in October and we came in mid January.  So he was far behind and he had to catch up to everyone else.  

He worked HARD weekly and was able to catch up in 3 months and rocked it at the church Bible Drill today.  He advanced to the association drill next week!  I love watching my boy perform!

Brayden's message on my phone....

So soon after we told the kids that we would be staying in America instead of returning to Turkey, I found this message that Brayden had written in the notes section on my phone.  I thought it was very introspective and sweet so I wanted to keep it!

Umm..... so I found out that we are staying in America a couple days ago I am happy and sad because turkey is a part of us. I will

Miss turkey definitely. I can go to public school  just saying

• I am so scared. I don't know if I'm scared or happy. We are coming back from our grandparents house I definitely am going on a emotional trip. I feel so bad for my little sister we left when she was 4 years old all she remembers is turkey if I could pay for her ticket I definitely would  

American Soccer Fall 2017

One of my favorite parts of Fall so far is getting to watch Brayden do what he loves more than anything...playing soccer!  He has developed a love for the game and he is really talented.  I am so proud of him and his determination to do his best.

TEN Goals today!

Brayden had a great game today!  He scored TEN goals and they won 12-3.  Two of his goals were from mid-field!  He had a blast playing and I had a blast watching him.  Thanks Grandmother, Nonnie, Pop-Pop and Lolli for coming to watch him play!
