Lunch with Lucy Lu!

I love getting to eat lunch with my Lucy Lu at school.  I know my time doing this is limited before she becomes too cool so I am going to enjoy it while I can!

I was happy to get to go to Lucy's field trip today with her and her friends!

Lucy decided to do track this year and has enjoyed it for the most part.  I think she liked the practices more so than the meets though ha!

Oak Ram Run

Lucy participated in a fundraiser at her school called the Ram Run.   They ran around the school for 30 minutes and with each lap they got a certain amount of money for the school.  I even got to run the last lap with her!  

First day of school 2017

Today was our first day of homeschool 2017!  We now officially have a 3rd grader, a 5th grader and now a 7th grader!

These drummers wake us up during Ramadan at 3:00 am every morning and finally we saw them in person.  The kids loved it!

Lucy's end of school picnic

Lucy's class had an end of the year picnic for her class and the moms.  We had a great time hanging out with them and I got to share some good news with them!

Happy Children's Day 2016!

Today is a national holiday called Children's Day and Lucy's class performed in the school program.  She has been looking forward to this for weeks and been preparing with the class on the dance that they would perform.  She could hardly sleep last night she was so excited!!!

This is one of Lucy's best friends in her class.

So proud of my girl for being so brave and learning a second language.  She has done so well this year adapting and making friends and being willing to try things that are different and difficult for her.
