Update on Brayden

Well the recovery for pneumonia is not as fast as we thought it would be.  However, Brayden is SLOWLY getting better.  Since we got home on Sunday, we have decided to quarantine ourselves due not to him being contagious, because he is not...but because he has been so uncontrollable and MEAN that we don't want to deal with him outside our house.  He is on an antibiotic twice a day, Robitussin every 4 hours, Motrin for fever, a steroid, and breathing treatments every 6 hours or so.  The steroid is making him very uncomfortable and mean simply because he feels terrible.  It is so hard to deal with a wild child when you know that they are uncontrollable due to being sick and because of the meds they are taking.  He can be precious one minute and then vicious the next.  He hasn't run fever in the last 24 hours or so and breathing treatments are fewer and farther between so I think he is recovering.  We are all going crazy from being in the house and are ready to get out and about again.  Hopefully for the first night in almost a week, we can all get a full night's sleep tonight.  

But we'll see.  Crossing our fingers.
