Brayden's Championship game....

Tonight Brayden played in the championship game and we were so excited to see him play!  Both teams had only lost once, and that was to each other, and we couldn't wait to see how the game would pan out.  He had quite the cheering squad and sad to say but after overtime, they lost by one.  But he played amazing and we were so proud of him for how hard he and his team played this season. We are sad the season is over!

Karis' 13th birthday!

For Karis' 13th birthday, she wanted to go horseback riding again like she did on her 9th birthday.  She has always loved horses and doesn't get to be around them much so it is always a treat!

After horseback riding, we took her to hibachi (her request) and gave her a special gift we had planned for her.  We got her a promise ring similar to the gift my parents gave me when I turned 14.  We got her a silver ring that is a reminder of her promise to save herself for her husband and to give this ring to him on their wedding day as a symbol of her purity.  

That night we also celebrated my dad's birthday, Timmy's birthday and Matt's birthday with the family.

So 13 is such a special milestone and I wanted to take some pics so I can remember these priceless days.  I took her across the street and snapped a few of our precious girl.  She is beautiful, but her heart is the sweetest of all.

Happy Birthday to our Pop!  He had to spend his birthday working but we were able to take him out for lunch!  We love you Pop!
