Happy 39th Birthday Jay!

Today my man celebrates 39 and it is the 12 birthday I have celebrated with him.  Things were very different this year for his birthday as we didn't have a car and there is no Outback here.  He suggested a quiet day with the family so that is what we got.  He did get to choose all food for the day! :)

Christmas prep 2014

One of my favorite things each year is setting up the Christmas tree with my family!  But this year the timing of it was completely out of our control because they don't even pull out the Christmas trees in the stores until December 1st.  So when they finally came out we were sooooo excited and ran to buy one ASAP.  And thanks to Lolli for sending us Christmas in a box to set up our first tree overseas.  The decorations are lacking here!

I think Brayden was the most excited to help us put up the tree this year and helped us from beginning to end.  I was a little shocked!

Our favorite ornament sent by our friends back home.  It was the conversation starter to all of our friends that came over to explain why we celebrated Christmas!
