The kids were due for a dentist visit this morning and it was Lucy's 2nd visit. I am thankful that all my children love the dentist and look forward to it to each time. I had such anxiety about the dentist growing up (partially because I went a long time without going) so I am thankful it is a positive experience for my children. Hopefully it will continue to be so!
We have a wonderful dentist and the staff there is wonderful! We were pretending we were at the beach for a few minutes. We can dream right?!

They rarely x-ray 3 year olds but Lucy did so well she agreed to do so and did so well. So proud of her!
Dr. Acosta said everybody's teeth looked great and no cavities!!!!

Aww! It’s really cute that your children really look forward to going the dentist. Just like you, I was also afraid to go to the dentist when I was young, and I really wish it’ll also be a happy experience for my kids. And when I do have kids, I’ll make it a point to teach them about healthy dental habits: the proper way of brushing their teeth, how to floss, and what food to avoid.

I’m so lucky to have a daughter who’s just like yours! Though not exactly, she was fussing a little, which was understandable given her age, but overall, she breezed through the dentist appointment without any trouble at all. She’s still rattled over the sound of the drill, but she says that, as long as I go with her, she’ll be more than willing to go to the dentist. How are your kids’ dental habits so far?
ReplyDeleteWell, it’s really normal for kids to be afraid of visiting a dentist. Of course, they have a lot of things in their mind. That’s why I think it’s important that they should have a great experience on their first dental visit so that they’ll feel excited for their next appointment!
