Magic Kingdom

While in Orlando, we decided to go to only ONE day at Disney...because its expensive y'all!  It has been years since we have been to Disney and most trips Lucy doesn't even remember.  So we wanted to go back to Magic Kingdom because what little girl doesn't have a memory with the princesses?!  So off we went and exhausted (but happy) we came back ha!  It was a blast and we rode all the rides we wanted to ride and its a day we won't forget!

Karis' 1st Youth Camp!

Karis was super pumped about her 1st youth camp and it was bitter sweet to see her get on a bus and travel states away from us for a week.  I know she will be fine and have a wonderful week!  She also was staying at Laguna Beach Christian Retreat which is where I went to youth camp at her age and all the way through high school!  

Last year in my 30's!

Well today started the last year in my 30's because today I turn 39!  Next year I will enter into a new decade and I am NOT ready to be 40!  I plan to enjoy this next year to the fullest!

For my birthday this year, we picked Karis up from youth camp in Destin and headed to Orlando to spend the week with Jay's family.  We started off the day with donuts and coffee for our travel.  And I wanted a family picture on the beach!

Brayden and Lucy's children's camp!

Lucy and Brayden both got to go to childrens' camp and were super pumped about it!  I was anxious to see how they would do, but knew they would have a blast!  And because Brayden is going into 6th grade, this was his last year for children's camp.

They both had a blast and got to do some really cool things, but were glad to be home at the end of it!  Lucy is already looking forward to next year and Brayden will look forward to YOUTH CAMP!

Bible recovered

I love my journaling Bible that I have had since 2013 but I didn't love the cover.  Jay has started recovering things in leather so I let him recover my Bible!  I LOVE the results and he did a great job!  And it makes it more special knowing that he did it with his own two hands.  I will treasure it forever!

Karis' sleepover with friends!

Karis had some friends over while Lucy and Brayden are at kids camp.  They made a mess, I mean bath bombs.

Happy 4th of July!

We celebrated the 4th with our friends from church and before we leave the country for Ghana in a few days.  It was a hot one but so fun!  Happy Independence Day!
