Brayden turns 13!

Brayden is 13!  We now have 2 teenagers in the house! Since we were on vacation, we celebrated his birthday with the family the night before we left since we would be traveling on his birthday.  We played several games of laser tag, then the littles played games while the bigs rode go carts.

And a trip down memory lane....

On our way home from the beach, we stopped by a friend's house that we haven't seen since we left Turkey.  They are some of our best friends and it was so good to see them.  They have also adopted a little girl Anna Joy that we got to meet!

What a wonderful week with family!  While Karis is in NYC, we had a great week with all the Thomas cousins on the beaches of North Carolina!

We had lots of beach and bike time, ate a ton, had ice cream, rode a ferry, celebrated Grandmother's and Brayden's birthdays and even saw the restaurant that Safehaven was filmed in!

While we went to North Carolina on a family vacation, Karis went to NYC on a youth mission trip!  She was so excited about this trip and that she got to see her Uncle Jonathan!

So thankful for this man and how he leads our family so well!  And also grateful for my own daddy, a man I love with all my heart!

Ax throwing with our Connection Class!

What an exciting night ha!  I was TERRIBLE at ax throwing but its ok because I don't think I will ever making a living doing it ha!  But it was fun hanging out with Jay and our connection class!

VBS

For VBS we raised money for the Paanee Project which is Hindi for "water."  It was a joy to exceed our goal and see the kids get so excited to provide water and the gospel to those in India!

I worked the Missions Station for VBS and it was great.  Karis and Brayden were co-leaders in their groups and Lucy enjoyed it as well as a participant!
