Courageous

If you have seen Flywheel (2003), Facing the Giants (2006), or Fireproof (2008), you will soon LOVE the new movie coming out September 30th, Courageous.

Tonight, Lifeway gave Jay and our association a chance to preview it.  He offered it to any of our associational pastors, staff and key leaders to view it in advance to prepare for how God will use the movie when it premieres.  There was a great turnout of 150-200 pastors and staff and their wives!  Paige and I got a sweet friend from church, Chelsea, to watch our kids so we could go on dates with our hubbies!

We even had popcorn, candy and cokes for the viewing to make it like a movie theater!  :)  We had some great help which made it all possible!

Jay was welcoming all the pastors and their families.  I love seeing my hubby in action, it makes my heart smile.  :)

Courageous is the best movie yet of Sherwood Pictures.  It is an emotional rollercoaster I must say, crying because you're laughing to the next scene crying because you're crying!  It is a tearjerker!  It has much better acting than the others and there is even quite a bit of action in this one.  It gears towards the fathers being the spiritual leader of their homes which is so needed in men today.  It is convicting, emotional, intense, encouraging and powerful all at the same time.  Children also have a huge role in this film and it made me want to go home and hug on my children!!!

Please plan on seeing this opening weekend in the theaters and pray in advance that God would convict hearts all across this country and that men and families' lives would be changed because of it.
