This morning the girls and I went grocery shopping and the boys went fishing on the boat. Brayden's favorite thing to do is fish with daddy and now that B is doing it all on his own, it is more enjoyable for daddy too. He said he is still working in limiting the amount of questions per hour because right now B is FAR exceeding his limit haha!
We went down for a few minutes to watch Brayden catch a fish and we were able to witness one. He did it all by himself from start to finish...so proud of him. He even took it off the hook and everything (I don't even do that)!
He is one HAPPY boy fishing...can you tell?!
Love to see them spend special boy time together....so neat, special and soooo necessary!
These next two are two that Jay took with his phone while we they were out. He caught some BIG ones...especially for a four year old on a Superman fishing pole!

This afternoon we had a friend of ours, Candy, come over and plant some vegetables in our garden. She brought a special friend of hers, a garden guru, Mrs. Donna. She is one of the neatest people I have ever met. Donna is 60's, married, mother of TEN and grandmother to THIRTY FIVE! She is battling CANCER that is in both lungs, her hip and her spine. She had chemo on Wednesday and was planting in our garden today. She is the happiest when she is helping someone else so I am told and she was such a blessing to us. She has an amazing testimony to tell and despite what she is going through, has the sweetest spirit of just about anyone I have ever met. She gave us lots of practical advice about our garden and then prayed over it and us. It was such a special time and when I eat those first fruits of our labor, I will think of Donna and God's provision.

Jay opted to stay and keep the younger two while Karis and I went to two weddings tonight. It was a special time with my big girl. She is such a joy to be with and is growing up too fast. She wasn't going to miss a MOMENT of the festivities...she loved every detail of the weddings and receptions.
The first wedding we went to was a sweet friend at church named Tina. She is one of those people that has a huge grin on her face ALL the time and I have never seen her in a bad mood or frustrated (I wish I could be more like her!). She is such a joy to be around. Tina is 42 and never been married so it was a pleasure for all of us to be there to witness and support her on her special day.
Here are all the Riverbend ladies that came to support Tina. I wish she had just one or two friends geez! Haha
Me and my K girl
Tina and her husband Dennis...check out her grin. She had a glow about her that you couldn't have wiped off if you tried. It is just contagious!
This was her something "blue" on her bouquet...it was her grandmother's brooch.
Karis loved the bubbles she got to use when they left.
Leaving the church...
The wedding was actually at Karis' old preschool she went to two year ago. So we had to drop by her old room to check it out.
Then we left that wedding and on to wedding #2. It was a friend of ours that used to go to church with us at our previous church. Her sister is a good friend of mine (Matt and Megan) and I use to teach sunday school with her mom Nancy (Hey Nancy! :)
The couples' first dance...
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Williams
This is the mother of the bride in grey, Nancy. Her other daughter is my friend Megan and the lady to the left of her is Mrs. Jill, Megan's mother-in-law (Matt's mom). They were helping Karis at the candy table! Mrs. Nancy looked absolutely stunning as always. :)
Mrs. Jill is always taking care of everybody around her. She is one of my favorite people. She is such a giver, fun to be around and an amazing cook!!! She was helping Karis make bags for her brother, sister, dad AND mom haha! :)
Congrats to both couples and may God bless your time together and your marriage.
Whew we were tired and came home and crashed especially since we were losing an hour!!!
